Crazy cool news. Jason Segel is making a new Muppet movie. Not just starring in one like any old Arquette, but actually writing one. Here's a link to the story.
"In "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" Segel's character writes a "Dracula" musical performed by puppets. Those cloth creatures were custom-made by the Henson puppeteers, and the experience emboldened Segel to pitch his concept for a Muppets movie when he was invited in for a general meeting with exec Kristin Burr. Segel got a deal in the room and enlisted Nick Stoller to co-write and direct the project."
This is a really fresh take, hopefully will be some good stuff :)
You may not actually want to read this Brett Favre story from the Onion. It made me a little sad.

Oh my goodness, half of the AI contestants are plants! Carly Smithson had a record deal with MCA which she tries to make sound all small. $2.2 million and she sold about 400 records and 17,000 singles. Boo! She's lame.

you are so right randi, i had heard about her record deal as well and it's unfortunate they can't find some fresh talent or at that rate good talent at all. if you're gonna pick someone who has already been signed, pick someone at least worth it.
