A long podcast deserves a huge response. Read it in shifts and I think it will be fine. I half listened/half worked, so here are my musings.

It’s hard to get a good sitcom lots of viewers. Arrested Development was awesome, but most TV viewers want According to Jim and Yes, Dear. You can guarantee that the smartest and/or the funniest new show of the season will not last the whole season.

Angie, remember, the names Chuck and Pete are the funniest names, comedy gold. Dustin thinks Pushing Daisies is the only new show that looks good. And he hates TV.

Tim Daly is a renowned show killer; I think the Grey’s spin-off will spin off the air before the end of the season.

By the way, Angie Harmon is soooooo hot. With that being said, I still have no interest in her new show, unless she is nude for the whole time.

The NFL had problems with the ESPN show called Playmakers which featured fictional pro football players doing bad things and they pressured ESPN into canceling it. At the time, Playmakers was a very successful show for cable TV. I bet the NFL told ABC that there would be consequences for airing Football Wives. ABC owns ESPN and ESPN has the rights to Monday Night Football. We must all bow down before the mighty NFL.

Kid Nation sounds like a GREAT idea. I wonder if the creators of the show have read books like Animal Farm or Lord of the Flies.

We don’t take kindly to them there foreigner types talking in them durn accents. If we is gonna have to put up with an English actor in a by God American show he better be sounding like us’n.

I’m not sure if you all know this, but badgers are the most racist of all the animal kingdom.

I think I liked the show Reaper better when it as called Supernatural.

What makes me think that CW Now! will not be the ultimate source for what is hip and hot and happening in the world of young adults? Hmmm, it’s on the CW. They cancelled Veronica Mars, I hope the whole network goes under this year.

How many more people watch One Tree Hill than Veronica Mars? I think that if they can flash forward OTH and shelve it for a midseason replacement, then they could have done it for V Mars. CW blows!!!!! I am boycotting all CW shows, except Supernatural.

I saw the K-Ville preview last night during On the Lot and didn’t think much of it, but if it is half as good as NYPD Blue, then I will be there. Love NYPD Blue, best cop show ever.

I think your fall Reality Check podcast should be about The Search for The Next Greatest Band in America at this Time that is Sure to Rock Your Face Off.

Great show, I think we have differing opinions on some shows, but what else is new? Should be another interesting TV season.

By the by, are any of you watching the show On the Lot on Fox? I caught up with this weekend and I've got to say, I really like it.

Hey Piccu! I'll definitely be watching On the Lot. I love the idea, and they seem to be executing it perfectly so far. I'm sure it'll be a topic on the next PCS. Awww, poor badgers, they're so misunderstood.

We may disagree about many things, but I have great respect for your a-one choice in cop drama. I have seen every episode of NYPD Blue at least three times. If TNT wants to flush it out of "Primetime in the Daytime", I will watch it at 2am and show them what I am made of. NYPD Blue is the greatest. End of story.
